En folkefiende
En folkefiende (An enemy of the people) is all about herd mentality and how people often follow the crowd without questioning it. With a radical and rebellious style, the performance pushes everyday expressions and common attitudes to their limits, while both reflecting and positioning itself in opposition to the crowd. It explores the power of the majority and how easily the truth can be lost among the voices of the masses. The work challenges the audience to consider what it really costs to stand alone for what is right.
The work is inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s famous play of the same name, bringing his classic story about individual integrity versus the crowd into the modern world.
